Meet Keith Bird,

Founder & Director of Birmont Group

From humble beginnings, Keith has forged an international career encompassing several executive leadership roles with domestic and global organisations.

He is a highly respected professional with diverse experience in small to medium enterprises, private, private equity, government, and public sectors. His wealth of experience, from ground up to executive level spans close to forty years and stretches across twenty countries that include Australia, Asia, Europe and the USA.

Keith’s experience has been developed from various senior leadership roles at a global level and across complex, cultural and strategic commercial portfolios and multiple industry sectors. He has led numerous transformational, reform and efficiency initiatives on a global level and is passionate about authentic leadership, establishing a high-performance culture and diversity.

Keith is known for navigating through the pressure points of an organisation, determining solutions and building relationships at all levels. In particular, he has built several high-performing teams and has coached, advised and mentored many industry leaders. Keith has a reputation as an innovative leader who enjoys working with cross-functional teams and delivering bottom-line results

Meet Imelda Walsh, Director of Birmont Group

Imelda Walsh remembers the day she was approached by a candidate who had nearly given up on finding a dream role in procurement.

A seasoned procurement recruitment and coaching professional, Imelda’s experience spans from senior positions with major international companies to boutique agencies. She works across all areas of procurement recruitment including interim contracting, permanent recruitment and executive search.

Over her career, Imelda has partnered with Chief Procurement Officers, senior leaders and C-level executives around Australia to help build high-performing teams across multiple industries. Her unique understanding of what is needed by both client and candidate allows her to provide customised and adaptive solutions.

Imelda is passionate about changing lives and making a positive impact by coaching talented people through their career journey, advising them on how to make the right decisions to help them find fulfilling careers.
